What used to be a pad-nanny and child infested swamp is now an unattended concrete playground right in the heart of Arlington, VA. Wally Holliday hired some know-nothing sidewalk construction workers to make a 10ft concrete pool but hey: it’s free, low key, and you can drink care free. Lately some new young professional ladies and homies have been meeting there every Tuesday to pound a few brews under the lights and stroll on over to El Ranchero for some dollar tacos and six dollar pitchers. If you’ve ever been to one of the most yuppy infested towns in the US of A you know that’s a bad ass deal. Plus skating in front of chicks usually makes you skate better whether you admit it or not.
