Packy's Taco Tuesdays

What used to be a pad-nanny and child infested swamp is now an unattended concrete playground right in the heart of Arlington, VA. Wally Holliday hired some know-nothing sidewalk construction workers to make a 10ft concrete pool but hey: it’s free, low key, and you can drink care free. Lately some new young professional ladies and homies have been meeting there every Tuesday to pound a few brews under the lights and stroll on over to El Ranchero for some dollar tacos and six dollar pitchers. If you’ve ever been to one of the most yuppy infested towns in the US of A you know that’s a bad ass deal. Plus skating in front of chicks usually makes you skate better whether you admit it or not.

Conroe's New park

Took a little trip today out to Conroe. I had to check out Jon's work on the new park and I have to say...it looks fun. Hopefully it will be open just in time for Thanksgiving or at least christmas. The park has a 69 bowl style pool, a crazy mini bowl with a huge 6.6 doorway and a street course. Here's a couple spyshots from the site

Brett Roper is the coolest dude in Austin(even though he hasn't lived there in 10 years)! Why not get the coolest artist in Austin to do his graphic? Well, somehow we made it happen. Thanks to Michael Sieben for hooking it up. I hope he likes cheap beer....because that's all we can pay him with! This board will come in an 8.6 Pop and an 8.6 Square. Should be available sooner than later. Check the site for updates.
